Getting from here to there
HoloWorld does not appear fully developed from one day to the next. More likely it develops gradually out of older systems.
The key stepping stone towards HoloWorld is community building. Almost any older society contains most of the elements needed to form stronger, more self-sustainable communities. There might be laws in place that seek to limit the freedom of those communities, but at least the infra-structure can begin development.
Relationship steps:
- Get to know the people around you
- Seek out like-minded people
- Form associations, teams, co-operatives
- Develop mutual agreements and standards
Infra-structure steps:
- Examine the existing infra-structure you depend on
- Work out strategies for self-sufficiency in basic necessities.
- Implement local sources for energy and food
- Develop local exchange systems
Networking steps:
- Network widely, across any boundaries
- Get in touch with other developing communities
